ABOUT ME

I’m 55, and I’ve been going to gyms since I was 14. I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness and first qualified as a personal trainer back in the 1990s.

Turning 55, and recently moving to Horsham, gave me a chance to stop and think about the part of my working life I’d enjoyed the most.

I missed personal training.

So I decided to return to the industry I’ve always been passionate about, renew my qualifications and set about helping people get stronger, and start living their lives the way they want to.

For me, personal training isn’t about getting you into a particular shape or spending hours in the gym. It’s about helping you feel stronger and more capable in your everyday life.

Whether that’s getting up from the floor, carrying the shopping, walking up the stairs, playing with the kids or grandkids, or simply feeling confident in your own body.

And because I come to you, there’s no need for a gym membership, no intimidating environment and no pressure to keep up with anyone else. We train in the comfort of your own home, at your pace and around your goals.

After qualifying as a personal trainer in the 1990s, I went on to manage David Lloyd health clubs before moving into private healthcare.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been working alongside physiotherapists in a London clinic, which gave me a real appreciation of how important appropriate strength, movement and activities are to maintaining quality of life.

That experience has shaped the way I approach personal training today. I believe that getting stronger isn't just about fitness, it's about helping you maintain the ability and confidence to do the things that matter to you.

I’m a CIMSPA registered Level 3 Personal Trainer and I’m continuing to build on my knowledge and experience.

I’m currently studying for my Exercise Referral qualification, with plans to complete Level 4 qualifications in Back Pain Management and Falls Prevention in 2027.

At 55, I’m back doing something I love and I’m looking forward to working with you, helping you stay strong, capable and independent for longer.
